Rivo Alto is an attic floor on two levels of 185 square meters with panoramic view over the picturesque Rialto Bridge with 3 double bedrooms
The entrance to this apartment is located just steps away from the picturesque Rialto Bridge and the colourful Rialto fruit, vegetable and fish market.
The apartment is comprised of 3 good-size bedrooms all wtih en-suite bathroom (one bathroom and one bedroom is on the floor above). All rooms have roomy wardrobes. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other two rooms can have either 2 single beds or 1 king size bed each. The Rivo Alto property also has a modern, functional and fully-equipped kitchen, including a table and four chairs. There is a fourth bathroom close to the kitchen and there is a washing machine and a dryer.
This main floor is completed by an ample and elegantly furnished living area with comfortable double sofa bed (for 2 people) and dining area suitable for 6 people. There is a breathtaking view on the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge from the numerous windows of the living area and from one of the bedrooms.
The area the apartment is located in is among our favorites: you are close to many fine restaurants, to the main sights of the city, short walking distance to Piazza San Marco and also a short stroll to Fondamenta Nove where you can take the vaporetto to visit the fabulous islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello.
It is simply the perfect apartment for an exclusive holiday...

First - all of the people that we dealt with, from booking the reservation to our greeting were very helpful, with good information and quick solutions to minor problems. The location of this apartment is fantastic. Less than a three minute walk from door to the Rialto bridge. Alilaguna and Vaporreto stops were within just a few steps, making transportation throughout the city (and to outer islands) convenient. Even with that convenience, Venice is a very walkable city. We walked from the apartment to San Marco more than once, making the trip in 12-to 20 lyminutes, depending on how many shop windows were scanned. The apartment itself was neat, clean and comfortable, with more than adequate room for a large group, with three bedrooms and three (plus) bathrooms. Our only negatives might be the stairs, which might be a problem with mobility impaired individuals, or those with a lot of luggage. We, a group of five, with a combined age of 342 years were able to make the climb several times a day (although with some heavy breathing at the top). The other negative would be the system of trash disposal, which is interesting, and needs to be thoroughly explained when you check in. Having said all that, if, and when, we return to Venice, this apartment will be our first choice.April 2018, Sean (United States)
6 of us comfortably stayed at Rivo Alto in May this year. The greater was very helpful in identifying local amenities. The apartment has plenty of room for six people. The kitchen is well equipped and the view is truly exceptional. The apartment is steps away from the Rialto bridge in front of the vaporetto stop. The markets are easily accessible and a great spot to get fruit, vegetables and fish. There is a great wine store near the fish market that has a wide selection of Nero D'Avola. The only drawbacks are the 57 steps you have to ascend (so pack wisely) and the fact there are no screens to keep mosquitos out (and there were lots of them). The experience was great. The staff under Daniela's direction are great. They assisted me in reclaiming a fanny-pack I forgot at a local restaurant. Truly Venice is truly the best way to arrange accommodation in Venice.June 2016, James (Canada)
This is a very well located apartment. A few steps from the Rialto Bridge. The vaporetto stop is nearby, it is very easy to get to supermarkets and restaurants as well as the Rialto market The windows look out over the canal - we had cocktails watching beautiful sunsets, and coffee watching the city come to life in the morning. We did not find it noisy and really enjoyed our stay - even staying in 2 nights and cooking dinner! This is a much nicer way to visit Venice than staying in a hotel. I can highly recommend this placeOctober 2014, Tanya (United Kingdom)
The panoramic views of the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge are stunning, though be aware this is on the third floor with no lift and some fairly steep steps! This is a very traditional style apartment but very spacious and every where was clean and tidy. Excellent central location with vaporetto stop right outside the apartments and in the midst of many lovely bars and restaurants. In regards to the booking process with Truly Venice; Daniela couldn't have been more helpful answering any questions and booking our water taxis for us! We met representative Chiara who had some excellent recommendations in regards to cicchetti bars and local restaurants.October 2014, Celia (United Kingdom)
A most memorable stay at the Rivo Alto. The apartment was on the Grand Canal with views of the Rialto Bridge from two sides. It was very comfortable for seven people. The kitchen and laundry facilities were great. This location is perfect for walking and touring with the vaporetto very close by. We totally enjoyed our stay, and I would be pleased to return there. It was pretty and clean. The staff were helpful. It is quite a few steps up with suitcases, but worth the climb.October 2014, Lee (United States)
The Rivo Alto apartment certainly lives up to the stunning photos, being right next to the Rialto Bridge in the heart of Venice. Thanks to the double-glazed windows in the living room you can easily shut out the bustle below or open them to get the sounds of the Grand Canal and more of the amazing views too. The apartment is well equipped and stylishly decorated, and comfortably sleeps 6 or more, with plenty of space to relax after a busy day's walking or sightseeing. Each bedroom is further back in the apartment, away from the canal, making them all ideal for a quiet night's sleep. Crucially, the prime location makes moving around Venice easy, avoiding the need to trek to a bridge to cross the Grand Canal, while Piazza San Marco and most other sights are only a short walk away.May 2015, Murray (United Kingdom)
This apartment and the folks at Truly Venice were outstanding. I agree with the other excellent reviews. Location at first seems maybe too loud and active but inside the apartment it is actually very quiet with the windows closed. The kitchen was well equipped even though we just made coffee. The beds and showers and air conditioning were good too. The location though is what makes this property stand out. I really I can't imagine a more convenient location. I would definitely stay here again and hope I will because we loved Venice a lot.July 2015, David (United States)
Very nice comfortable apartment for us - a party of three couples. All three bedrooms with excellent baths. Kitchen well equipped. The view was excellent. The servicing partner, Hannah, was very friendly and informative. This was indeed an apartment that we can recommend to others who would like to have an excellent and large location.March 2016, Per (Germany)
The Heart of Venice. If grand canal views are your goal, we can't imagine a better apartment. A stones throw from the Rialto bridge sharing an alley with the Rialto hotel. The apartment itself is stunning with views from 11 windows, 8 of which can see the water. Modern but with preservation of the original architecture.June 2013, Isaari (United States)
Magnificent location! We found the view from the apartment (directly overlooking the Rialto Bridge) to be amazing. Even more so, we enjoyed opening the windows and just listening to the sound of the Grand Canal and the street below. It was magical. Of course, the location, from a walking perspective, was amazing also. It is centrally located in the middle of everything. There are cafes immediately below and the main Venice market was just across the bridge. The apartment itself is nicely appointed and comfortable. Note that there is no elevator and one must walk the steps to the 3rd floor.July 2013, kevinashaw (United States)
Breathtaking view! This spacious apartment is a gem. Amazing location with excellent view of the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. Comfy beds, Wifi, working air conditioning, and full appliances. Spotless, quiet,.. who could ask for more??!July 2013, Anderson (Canada)
Absolutely perfect apartment in Venice. Traveling with 3 children (5, 7, & 9). The apartment is about 30 feet from the Rialto bridge. The water bus drops you right there too. Looking out the window at the view is just spectacular! So convenient to Rialto bridge, s. Marco square, shops, and restaurants. The apartment is so spacious, very comfortable, and has air conditioning! We were very comfortable, and didn't want to leave. The rental agency was friendly and professional. They made our check-in & out very easy. Highly recommend for everyone (unless you don't like a 3rd floor walk up). You can't beat the location!July 2013, Tina (United States)
Truly Venice gave us first class customer service from the moment we reserved our apartment until we left. One can worry when reserving rentals abroad and Truly Venice were extremely helpful and answered every questions in a very prompt and helpful manner. The apartment itself was perfect. Very spacious, very clean, and a wonderful location with access to everything right next to it. Thank you for all your help. It was an amazing trip.March 2014, Elizabeth (United States)
