The Corte Moretta apartment is a spacious 2-bedrooms apartment on two levels (ground and first floor) located a few steps from Campo San Samuele, just around the corner from Palazzo Grassi and the Grand Canal.
It has been completely renovated and equipped with every sort of comfort, it is extremely quiet, and it is easily accessible directly from the Vaporetto Stop on the Grand Canal without crossing bridges.
It is laid out on about 120 square meters in total and is composed of: entrance, spacious living room with windows overlooking a quiet little square, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, 2 double bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms.
The location of the apartment is excellent both for walking and for connections by vaporetto (water bus). The two nearby stops are San Samuele and Sant’Angelo. The Alilaguna ferry to the airport stops at Sant’Angelo. The apartment is also close to Campo Santo Stefano where there are a number of café bars and restaurants The Accademia Bridge that leads to the Dorsoduro District is just a short walk away. The neighborhood has many interesting local artisan shops and nearby there are the Palazzo Fortuny and the Teatro La Fenice, and Piazza San Marco is only about 10 minutes away.
The double sofa bed in the living room is recommended mainly for younger guests or children; please note that when opened it reduces the available space in the living room.
The Corte Moretta apartment is suitable to anybody who loves comfort, we suggest it in particular to families with children being an easily accessible and practical apartment.

Corte Moretta was a great apartment - easy to find, quiet street, had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment is within a 10-30 minute walk of all points of interest in Venice; we had no difficulty navigating the area and appreciated how central it is. Truly Venice staff met us at check-in and gave us a quick tour of the apartment. There is a comprehensive resource book that was reviewed with us about local recommendations. The kitchen had everything we needed to prep breakfast and lunch. There is a small deli /grocery a 2-3 minute walk from the front door that was perfect for getting basics plus delicious cheese and charcuterie to make our lunches. The local restaurant (Osteria Al Bacareto, also a 3 minute walk) was excellent with friendly staff.

Eve, March 2025 (USA) This is my second time renting an apartment in Venice w Truly Venice and I highly recommend them! They provide excellent service and hospitality through their onsite representatives and the main office responds to emails very quickly. The apartment on Corte Moretta was just as described and presented in the photos. It's easy to access when arriving via vaporetto from the airport -- about 5-10 minute walk - and a great location from where to explore all of Venice. My family of four: husband, son (24), daughter (22) and I were very comfortable during our 5-night stay. I look forward to my next stay with Truly Venice!
