Many Venice connoisseurs and influent artists bought their house here as it is a picturesque, quiet and central area of Venice, where you can really experience the great lifestyle of "La Dolce Vita", like Marcello Mastroianni and Anita Ekberg played in the acclaimed Federico Fellini movie.
Its prestigious private entrance hall faces directly on the Fondamenta delle Zattere, but the house is found at the first floor, while at the second floor there is a sunny Altana, the typical Venetian wooden roof-top terrace. The view from here is absolutely unique, with panoramic view over the Giudecca Canal and Island.
Between April and October, it is possible to enjoy breakfast of just a glass of wine sitting on this terrace, especially pleasant at sunset. Please keep in mind that it is shared with the Mastroianni apartment, therefore you may find someone else using it, although quite rarely.
In fact, the Fellini is part of the larger Dolce Vita Apartment: a property of above 200 square meters with a central stairway connecting two independent units. While they both share the same beautiful ground-floor entrance and the roof-top terrace, the Fellini is much larger (about 140 square meters) and faces south all along the canal, therefore enjoys fantastic view and brightness. It has been recently carefully restored by the caring landlord who hired the best architect and craftsmen in town in order to create a truly unique boutique apartment.
As you can see from the floor-plan in the image gallery each room is designed to be completely independent from the others, with a long corridor that connects the independent rooms, like in a hotel. The living room is equipped with a comfortable double pull-out bed and few couches, enough for a large family reunion. The early 18th century frescoed ceiling of the large master bedroom is a charming detail that witness the history of this place, while the smart and elegant use of prestigious types of wood throughout the house confers warmth to the ambience. Most of the furniture is tailor made in order to create a distinctive style and fit perfectly every room, allowing the privileged guest to live in total comfort the holiday in Venice. In every room is available air-conditioning and Wi-Fi internet connection, beside all other electrical appliances.
The house is perfect for up to 6 people, but on request may be possible to host 8 guests. In summary the Fellini is a great apartment for families, couples, groups, including older travellers or well-behaved kids.

Flexible layout of accommodation. Great facilities. Perfect location and views. Would recommend to anyone.October 2019, Val (UK)
We had very high expectations for the apartment and it's view/location and I have to say those expectations were surpassed! The apartment is ultra modern and finished with the finest of fittings. It is PERFECT for a group of friends or a large family - everyone has their own bathroom (which are large, bright and modern) It's located in a great area - it's where the locals live and away from the "Disneyland" of tourists. In saying that it's a beautiful 20min walk to St Marks Square or the vaporetto stop is LITERALLY at the front door. There are an amazing selection of cool wine bars and restaurants within walking distance or go to the supermarket and buy meats, cheeses and wine and watch the sunset from your beautiful roof terrace (chairs and table for 4 provided). We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Not just for the stunning apartment but for the area it is located in.July 2017, Kyle (UK)
The location is perfect with 2 balconies overlooking the canal and right opposite a vaporetto stop, so ideal for private and public water taxis. The apartment has 3 good sized double bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and a fantastic rooftop terrace, perfect for morning coffee, early evening drinks or a late night liquer!! Thomas from Truly Venice was brilliant, he was on hand to arrange anything from private water taxis to recommending a restaurant, he made our holiday by taking the hassle out of things - would recommend the apartment and particularly the company.April 2017, Neville (UK)
The Fellini apartment is a fantastic place to rent ! We really enjoyed it, both the location and the apartment itself. The Truly Venice stuff was very helpful to get us set up, and we had a very pleasant stay the full time.March 2017, Jack (CA, USA)
This apartment was simply wonderful, and the location was magic, right opposite transport walking distance to great venues , I couldn't really fault this apartment , I travel to Europe a lot and as we all know space is a real concern, I can defiantly recommended this apartment and this place is like home , do yourself a favour and stay in this apartment you won’t regret it, you will have a life time of memories staying here , the view of every bedroom is stunning., I will be returning at Christmas and hopefully staying here !October 2015, Sharlene (Australia)
