The Fenice Theatre is known by the connoisseurs to be one of the best Opera House in the world. The Salomè is named after the well-known play written by Oscar Wilde, represented also at the Fenice Theatre.
The location is possibly the best in Venice Historical Center for its quietness, beauty and central position. The public transport stop and the supermarket are only 2 minutes’ walk away and there are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafés in the surroundings. Looking out the windows you can see gondolas sliding on the calm emerald waters of the canal below, while if you leave the windows open during the day you can enjoy the serenades of the Gondoliers!
The Salomè apartment is found at the 1st floor with elevator of an historic palace owned by almost a century by the same family who recently completely renovated the entire building. It measures about 50 square meters, therefore quite spacious for this type of accommodation.
It is smartly furnished with original vintage furniture, like a Danish designer sideboard from the 50’s, French table lamps and appliques from the 50’s, Reggiani vintage Italian designer floor lamp from the 70’s, original modern monochromatic paintings. The distinctive style of the Salomé studio arises also from the choice of a sleek Doimo Kitchen with induction plates and brushed white oak parquet boards, while the spacious bathroom is coated with Ecomalta, an innovative and ecological material that can be used to create continuous and minimalistic surfaces. The super comfy Simmons mattress sits on a nice king size bed covered with smooth linen, same as the double-sofa bed and the curtains made with linen. In short: a very stylish environment.
At the Salomé there is washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, professional American coffee maker, efficient air-conditioning system, climate controlled heating, Wi-Fi internet connection, Smart TV, etc…
The Salomé studio apartment is perfect for a romantic couple but can be rented for short term also by 3 people using the double sofa-bed. It is the smallest of the 6 units available in this Palazzo and can be combined with the Tosca apartment, also found at the same level, door to door. We named the combination of the two “Tosca Premium”, a perfect solutions for groups of up to 10 people.

The apartment was in a really convenient location for all of the main sights, and within easy access of the vaporetto stop. For two of us it offered plenty of space, and as we were not planning to do much cooking, the kitchen facilities were more than sufficient. The only down side was that the lift did not stop at the floor of the apartment. This was not a problem this time, but I had originally planned that my partially disabled sister would accompany me, and she would not have been able to cope.February 2018, Pauline (UK)
I stayed here for 4 nights with my 2 daughters age 21 and 24. We were met at the Giglio stop by Lara who took us to the apartment and gave us all the information we needed. Literaly only 4 min walk from boat. Apartment has everything you need although we did not cook anything or even put the tv on as there is far to much to see outside. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. When we got back every day before dinner we opened the windows and the Gondolas with music and singing sailed passed. Perfectly situated for shops and restaurants. Either go right or left and within mins you are in the centre of beautiful Venice. It was my birthday while here and in the morning I received a text from Truly Venice wishing me Happy Birthday then when we came back in the evening there was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. What a nice touch to an already fab break! Would highly recommend company and apartment .May 2016, Anne (United Kingdom)
