The area is rich in cultural attractions such as Basilica della Salute, Punta della Dogana, Accademia Galleries, Ca' Rezzonico Museum, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Cà Foscari University and much more. Literally at the doorsteps there are also many affordable bars and restaurants serving Venetian specialties for locals and students, beside myriads of nice art galleries and local artisan shops...you really can't be bored!
The beauty of the San Trovaso apartment is in fact the location, beside the stylish and contemporary feel of the interiors which have been restored with high standards and furnished with care. The big gothic shaped windows confer brightness to the environment and face a big garden full of sun.
The apartment is located at the first floor of an ancient Palazzo Veneziano dating back to the 15th century and get access from the famous Fondamenta di San Trovaso. The San Trovaso is south facing, therefore very bright all year long, plus is extremely quiet.
In the dining room there is a table for 4 people and a very nice kitchenette with 2 electric stoves, fridge, a small oven, washing machine, kettle and all the basic utensils.
In the living room there is a very comfortable and large double pull-out bed, wardrobe, drawer, side table and a TV. The beautiful bathroom with shower cabin can also be accessed from the living room.
Upstairs there is a loft (mezzanine level) where you can find a queen size bed perfect for a couple. It that can be reached through a solid metal and glass staircase, roughly 1.5 meters tall.
In total the apartment can host up to 4 guests for short stays, but for longer rentals we suggest the San Trovaso apartment to couples or singles. Even if compact, it is very comfortable and chic.

This flat was everything we wanted for our stay in Venice - luxury living close to all the amenities and sights!April 2018, Richard (UK)
Nice quiet building and location , even though there is a bar at the front of the building (it closes c. 11pm ). The flat overlooks a garden of the next door property . The location is very good close to the Zattere water bus stop . Whilst 4 can sleep here , I think only if 2 are children . Really the size is best for 2 guests .October 2017, Brian (UK)
The best thing about this place is its top location in the best residential area in Venice Accademia. You can walk everywhere. In the week we stayed there we never took any vaporetto/ public water transportation, to go anyplace. We just walked to any destination, including to the biennale area Giardini. The Accademia bridge , just steps from the apartment will take you across the grand canal so you have the option of easily access any area , on either side of the canal. The building where the apartment is located is between two popular 'bacari' or bars where you can have a drink and snacks of typical venetian specialties.there are constantly crowds of young people and tourists gathering along the canal and drinking at all times of day, a fun change from the US restrictive rules of no drinking in public areas. You will hear absolutely nothing from the apartment which is very quiet and opens on a charming garden, which featured, amazingly, a fruit laden pomegranate tree...The aparment is well equipped, we were pleased to find plenty of English language channels programmed on the TV. The sleeping loft is just that: you will need to stoop a bit to get to bed, but the bed was comfortable and we did not find it to be a problem. Because the loft is not a separate bedroom where you can close the door, this place would probably get crowded with more than two people, maybe a couple and a child would be fine, but would not recommend for more than that. The aparment has everything you need and everything worked fine.October 2017, Franca (United States)
We always love staying in Dorsoduro! This is quiet area and very convenient location. This apartment is close to Zattere with great walks, good restaurants, supermarket, and wonderful outdoor bar... It is a small and tastefully designed apartment with all the necessary conveniences and the view of a private garden trees - quite amazing in Venice.July 2016, Grazyna (United States)
The apartment was ideally located close to the Vaporetto stop and was spotlessly clean. It was very equipped from a self-catering perspective and came supplied with WiFi. The stairs to the mezzanine bedroom is quite steep and I would not recommend it for older guests. Very prompt service to all our queries and would be happy to recommend to friends in the future.September 2017, Claire (Ireland)
Our week in Venice was perfect, in many ways due to our incredible apartment and the service provided by Truly Venice. We needed a babysitter two nights, and we adored the sitter they provided for us (as did our child). The few questions we had were responded to quickly and to our satisfaction. The guide who met us at upon arrival in Venice was so helpful in explaining how things in the apartment worked and were the nearby casual dining places were. Best pizza in the world is nearby! The apartment is also stunningly beautiful in its design and just perfect for a little retreat every day for siesta as well as very comfortable at night. We were completely pleased with our experience and would go back to do it again!November 2015, Donna (United States)
Beautiful Venice! We stayed for a week at San Trovaso. The change over was trouble free and easy. The unit was compact and comfortable for two people with everything supplied. The location was wonderful close to the vaporetta and also easily linked to the main walk ways for exploring Venice. The apartment had two huge big windows that let in light and made the place airy and bright, the decor was sleek and modern.February 2013, Suzette (Australia)
My wife and I had a great time. The apartment, city, and people were just great. Great place to stay.May 2011, Tom (United States)
Apartment is immaculate, newly renovated & furnished, all modern. With a wide windowsill facing a garden, you can sit outside & bask or read. The loft is a bit short in the ceiling, so you won't spend much time there, but the bed is comfortable. I put my son up there and slept myself on the pullout couch. Very nice structure, big windows. Location fabulous: very close to accademia, San Barnaba, Zattere... grocery store & lovely bar very near... easy to get anywhere... Very peaceful at night. We loved it! Truly Venice was easy to deal with, even for a first-timer to Venice with no Italian.June 2011, Rose (Canada)
