Palazzetto San Trovaso is a very bright and spacious accommodation found in the Dorsoduro District, offering a unique mix of style, privacy, comfort and quietness.
The San Trovaso is a Venetian Palazzetto (literally small Palazzo) composed of only two units: San Trovaso Prestige and San Trovaso Terrace apartments, that can host in total 13 guests in 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms: an exclusive property perfect for family reunions or groups of friends who seek privacy and comfort in a classy environment.
It has been completely restored by the best artisans in town, using the finest materials and techniques, while respecting the building's original structure. Beautifully finished with designer furniture, it is laid out on about 300 square meters on 3 floors:
- the main floor is the 1st: it is composed of a living room with double pull-out bed and plenty of windows overlooking square, church and canal; in the dining room there is an extensible table for up to 10 people, a brand-new and well-equipped kitchen; there are also three double bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The main bedroom with king size mattress and en-suite bathroom features a stunning canal view, the second bedroom with 2 single beds that can be also used as double is the most spacious and offers a stunning view on the square and church, the third bedroom is a little smaller, faces private gardens and has a queen size bed. These two are served by other two very nice bathrooms located just outside the bedrooms.
- the ground floor is a dependence: beside the large shared entrance room that give access to the laundry room, at the ground floor there is a very spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom furnished with two single beds that can be also used as double. - at the second floor there is the attic: it is composed of entrance room, living room with foldable single bed, dining room with kitchen, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and terrace. The largest bedroom is truly charming and spacious: it has a king size bed and a luxury en-suite bathroom with beautiful mosaic tiled shower. The second smaller bedroom, also with nice en-suite bathroom, can be prepared either as double or two single beds on request.
The amenities of this home include high quality bed linens and towels, air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet connection, smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge and freezer, 4 burners stoves, oven, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, and all the basic electrical appliances.

We were a party of 11 people, looking for accommodation with easy access to vaporettos and the main areas of Venice, so the Palazetto San Trovaso was perfect for us. The location is lovely, tucked in behind the squera, and it was a bonus to be able to peek in through the back door to see the gondolas being built. Not to mention the little snack-bar and off-license just over the bridge. The bedrooms were lovely and spacious and it was very convenient to have a separate bathroom for each bedroom. There is one smaller bedroom, but that was perfect for the singleton in our party, although with the bed pushed into the corner of the room it may not have been so convenient for a couple. The beds were comfortable, and the apartment is really quiet at night, as although there are shops, restaurants and bars really close to hand, we were just far enough away for it to be peaceful. And we loved the little rooftop terrace. Even though we were there in February, we still managed to make some use of it. The Truly Venice rep was there to meet us, and we were lucky enough to have a late check out on the day of departure. The service cannot be faulted. We will be back.
