We stayed at the Fenice apartment for a week. It was superb! The apartment had a great kitchen, lovely living spaces, a fantastic ambience, situated directly over a bend in the canal that provided front row seats to a multitude of gliding gondalas thoughout the day. We also enjoyed complimentary operatic entertainment each day as different singers serenaded the gondalees. The surrounding buildings provided natural acoustical support to allow the voices to soar. It was truly magical. We were especially impressed by the support we received from the staff from Truly Venice, the company from which we leased the apartment. They were always available, friendly and ready to answer any question and sort out any issue we had related to our stay. They organised a chef to cook dinner for us in the apartment one evening and it was absolutely delightful. The good was delicious and it was so lovely to spend a few hours chatting with a local. We can truly recommend the Truly Venice team!September 2018, Beatriz (USA)
We stayed in the Fenice apartment for 3 glorious nights in June and it was the highlight of our European holiday. The apartment is smaller than it looks in the photos but every bit as beautiful. Rest is assured as it is on a quiet lane overlooking a small canal. Every day around 5pm the canal is abuzz with gondoliers taking excited tourists past the window - perfect happy hour entertainment from the gorgeous windows that open right out. Letizia was a perfect hostess and we were given clear instructions for meeting our water-taxi from Marco Polo airport. We highly recommend this form of transport to the apartment. The trip into Venice and along the Grand Canal was truly unbeatable. We were dropped off 10 meters from the entrance to the apartment - Perfect. We will only be staying here on any return trips. It was fabulous.July 2011, Bliss (New Zealand)

We stayed in Fenice for 5 nights with two small kids. The location is just perfect! Short walk from St Marks Square and walking distance to all the other sites. The gondolas go past every other minute which is just brilliant. The service we received was brilliant. Highly Recommend this property!July 2013, Minaz (United Kingdom)
We arranged a water taxi through Truly Venice and it was a great way to see Venice at night, and for the first time from the airport after a long flight. We arrived virtually at the front door and were met and checked in with ease. The apartment is in the middle of a very action packed area not far from the square. Great shopping and restaurants right at your door. We watched the gondolas cruise past all day long and never tired of it. The apartment is fully equipped and surprisingly quiet, considering it is in a rather busy part of town.September 2014, Glenda (Australia)
Fenice is ideally located in central San Marco sestiere. This apartment is very well appointed with full air-conditioning, a full kitchen with all amenities including a washer, there is WiFi and flat screen tvs. The living area is spacious with beautiful windows and beamed ceilings and overlooks a rio with passing gondole and the music of singers, guitars and accordions. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and both baths are updated. The calle the apartment is on is quiet and away from the heavily-trafficed tourist paths. Very nearby are some excellent restaurants, notably VinoVino and Taverna La Fenice and a bit farther in Campo San Angelo, Aqua Pazza. Small grocers, pastry shops and other shopping are easily found nearby. Rental agent Daniela met us at the vaporetto and gave us an excellent orientation to the apartment and area plus advice on places to visit that we never would have known of from guidebooks. She also efficiently arranged our water taxi to the airport directly from the rio dock by our building door. If I return to Venice someday, I would definitely stay at Fenice.July 2013, Nancy (United States)
