In this area the general vibe is creative, youthful, relaxed and not touristy at all! During the daytime you can find a genuine open-air market for fruit, vegetable and seafood where all the residents use to shop. In the lively square there are children playing, locals walking dogs, good shops and cafes. In the evening several bars and restaurants opens till about midnight.
The Loredan is a truly unique home: spacious, full of natural light, elegant and furnished with precious antiques. In particular the living room is divided from the courtyard only by two marble columns and a glass wall, giving the feeling of a large single space. In the courtyard are found interesting iron and stone details, a fireplace and a good size table with sun umbrella, for great out-door breakfasts or candle-light dinners!
From the courtyard you can access also the kitchen where there is a large fridge with freezer, oven, microwave, kettle, 4 burners gas stove and an antique copper sink still perfectly working, beside all the basic equipment of a modern kitchen. The ground floor is completed by a small toilet and a small entrance room.
A beautiful wooden and metal stairway leads to the first floor, which is composed of a beautiful double bedroom (with 2 single mattresses, therefore twin beds can be prepared on request), a smaller single bedroom and a newly renovated bathroom with large shower. In the attic floor there is a third bedroom with a beautiful baldachin double bed and an older but charming bathroom with bathtub. In total this apartment sleeps comfortably 5 people.
Amenities includes air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet connection, large flat-screen TV with Hi-Fi sound system and DVD player, autonomous heating, washing machine, hairdryer, iron with ironing board. We suggest the Loredan apartment to discerning travelers who aim to experience the authentic side of Venice and people who love antiques.

We had a great stay at the Loredan. The pictures do not lie. Close to the market square where we could buy fresh fruits and vegetables every morning (not sunday). The patio was regularly used for enjoying our breakfast. Great location in general. Helped us discover a for us new part of Venice. Less tourism, more local life, so to speak. Loredan has plenty of antiques we continuously kept discovering during our week-long stay. The antiques and artwork gave Loredan the additional valuable local touch we were looking for. Having two bathrooms is a great asset!July 2017, Martin (Poland)
This lovely eclectic apartment gave a lived in feel (instead of the syndicated look of other accommodation we investigated) and is in a quiet part of the City with easy walking distance of vaporetto stops/Piazzale Roma etc. Supermarkets well stocked, restaurants in the square (of variable quality!!), Cash machine available, easy walk to the Zattere etc. 'Il Doge' ice cream recommended ++. We stayed there with our 2 grown up daughters and our 8 month grandson (had to arrange a travel cot through the Rep) and loved the living room and eating out in the courtyard. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable and quiet and the 2 bathrooms were appreciated (although plug arrangement interesting!!). The kitchen is certainly unusual and the washing up bowls are situated in a tricky place for folks over 280 cms tall! All routine kitchen equipment available. Truly Venice Rep was really helpful on arrival with some great tips (including breakfast places!!). Walk to Piazzale Roma really easy (7-8 minutes) or Ca Rezzonico (vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal) also easy (5 mins walk). For a similarly sized group, we would recommend Loredan especially given that not many of us want to cook on holiday!!July 2017, Guy (UK)
Dear Truly Venice, Thank you for arranging this unusual and well sited property for myself, my wife (for her 60th birthday!!), my 2 daughter and my 8 month grandson. My daughters arrived first and really appreciated the Rep's meeting them at the apartment, showing them around, leaving maps and general advice, and checking that all the appliances worked. Please may you tell the property owner that we really enjoyed our time in her eclectic accommodation and would happily return if we return to Venice with friends in the future! Your help in answering all my questions months ago was invaluable and we will recommend your services to other friends who may visit Venice. Thank you!!July 2017, Guy (United Kingdom)
Truly Venice, indeed! We had a great stay at the Loredan. The pictures do not lie. Sounds from the area, even the renovation going on next door, made us feel like a part of Venice:) Close to the market square where we could buy fresh fruits and vegetables every morning (not sunday). The apartment was just as photographed, a three storey apartment in a quiet area just off a bustling square with everything you could need nearby. It was well equipped; beautifully decorated, 2 bathrooms plus a downstairs loo; the hot water worked without problems. It was ideal. Truly Venice is also brilliant and I would definitely book with them again! Thanks for a great stay.May 2016, Rob (United Kingdon)
We stayed at The Loredan in Venice the end of September, 2016. The apartment was as lovely as was represented by the photos, with warmth and old world appeal. Our host was most helpful with arrival and departure transportation services, as well as with restaurant recommendations. The arrangements through Truly Venice were professional & most helpful. I highly recommend using Truly Venice for accommodations in Venice.September 2016, Dorothy (United States)
Dear Truly Venice Team I would like to thank you all so very much for a wonderful stay in the Loredan apartment a few weekends ago. My husband, myself and another couple had the most wonderful stay in Venice and the location of the Loredan was perfect. And what a fun apartment to stay in with lots of quirky additions. I would also like to pass on my huge thanks to Thomas and Hannah, who couldn't have been more helpful. We had flight issues on the way out and it was so reassuring to know that Thomas was still able to meet us off the boat despite a big alteration in arrival timing. I also want to say a special thanks to Thomas for his brilliant tips on places to eat near us. We visited each and every one of them, twice in some instances and also recommended them to friends who were also staying in Venice. Their help was invaluable and made us feel considerably less like tourists and very much more at home. Thanks again for all your help in setting us up for a truly wonderful stay in Venice. Best wishesJune 2016, Victoria (United Kingdon)
Hi, Just to let you know, we had the best holiday last week at Loredan. I really liked your hassle free service and first class details e.g. meeting us off the taxi, making sure Wifi was working, sorting return taxis, being on hand if needed etc. Very best,May 2016, Lisa (United Kingdom)
My two week stay in Lorendan was more than I ever anticipated. The exceptional service and attention to detail provided by the rental agents, Truly Venice Apartments, made this adventure a breeze! Once I walked in the door, I knew I was home. I had a long list of questions, but before I could even ask them, she had already covered everything. The home was so Venetian with so much character. I truly felt I was living in Venice. The garden was welcoming. It was large, private, comfortable and well furnished. I ate dinners out there and had my tea each morning. Cocktails and antipasto in the garden before dinner were a nice time to catch up on our days & just relax & talk. The neighborhood was ideal...NOT flooded with tourists, not crowded yet with all the amenities you would want: local cafes, great restaurants, quality stores. I rate Truly Venice Apartments a 10 and Loredan a 10 as well! I am so looking forward to working with them again. Truly an exceptional experience!November 2014, Holly (United States)
It was everything in the photo. It was situated in a perfect location. Walking distance from the bus station. We could not fault it. We will be booking Truly Venice again. The agent who came round with the keys was great gave us loads of information asked us if there was anything we needed. It was a welcome sight walking into the apartment it was very cool especially with the air-conditioning.August 2015, Patsy (United Kingdom)
