This is a house on 3 levels composed of 3 identical 2-bedroom apartments sharing the same main entrance door and laundry facilities at ground floor.
The entire building has been recently renovated but the antique architectural features have been preserved: as you can see from the photo gallery each apartment features beautiful wooden beams and Terrazzo Veneziano flooring.
Each one of the three Sarpi apartments is composed of a nice living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table for 4 people, a larger bedroom with 2 single beds that are comfortably used as king size bed, a smaller bedroom with a 1,40 meters wide bed (French size bed) and a nice bathroom with large shower cabin. Each apartment is perfect for 3 guests, but if one couple do not mind sharing the French-size-bed can be suitable for up to 4 guests, especially for short stays.
It is equipped with air conditioning system, autonomous heating system, satellite TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi internet connection, beside all basic electrical appliances such as washing machine, large fridge with freezer, oven, 4 burners gas stove, kettle, etc.
About the location: the San Polo District is a maze of quiet Calli (lanes) and pleasant Campi (little squares). One of the most important places of this district is Campo San Polo, the second widest square of the city after St. Mark’s Square, where local children and pets can run around and play games while adults chat, in summer there is an open-air cinema, in winter an ice-skating ring. It is known for its fine but reasonably priced Osterie and Bacari (informal traditional restaurants and bars) where you can find locals and connoisseurs. This district is in fact not touristy at all, exception made for the area of the Rialto Bridge, where the busy and colourful Rialto Market takes place every morning (Sundays excluded).

We rented the Sarpi premium apartment (Sarpi 1,2 and 3 together) through Truly Venice for our recent trip. As 9 friends travelling together we needed 9 separate beds and a good communal space, in a central location in Venice. Daniela at Truly Venice was very helpful in identifying suitable apartments and generally in responding to my questions and supporting the booking process. Meeting up with Hannah for the handover was straightforward. The three apartments are smartly renovated, and by leaving the doors of the individual apartments open onto the central staircase we were able to treat them as one. I can't think of anything I didn't like - true, there isn't much of a view from the apartment, but you are in the centre of Venice, feet from the grand canal and the Rialto bridge, so there are lovely views all around.April 2016, Clare (United Kingdom)
