It is a 2nd floor apartment of about 60 square meters and offers great value for money. The building is composed of only 3 identical independent apartments on 3 levels, therefore sharing the same main entrance door and laundry room at the ground floor.
San Polo is a maze of quiet Calli (lanes) and pleasant Campi (little squares). One of the most important places of this district is Campo San Polo, the second widest square of the city after St. Mark’s Square, where local children and pets can run around and play games while adults chat, in summer there is an open-air cinema, in winter an ice-skating ring.
San Polo is known for its fine but reasonably priced Osterie and Bacari (informal traditional restaurants and bars) where you can find locals and connoisseurs. This district is in fact not touristy at all, exception made for the area of the Rialto Bridge, where the busy and colourful Rialto Market takes place every morning (Sundays excluded).
The entire building has been recently renovated but the antique architectural features have been preserved: as you can see from the photo gallery the apartment features beautiful wooden beams and Terrazzo Veneziano flooring.
The Sarpi apartment is composed of a nice living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table for 4 people, a larger bedroom with 2 single beds that are comfortably used as king size bed, a smaller bedroom with a 1,40 meters wide bed (French size bed) and a nice bathroom with large shower cabin. The apartment is perfect for 3 guests, but if one couple do not mind sharing the French-size-bed can be suitable for up to 4 guests, especially for short stays.
It is equipped with air conditioning system, satellite TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi internet connection, beside all basic electrical appliances such as washing machine, large fridge with freezer, oven, 4 burners gas stove, kettle, etc.

Perfect location within very close proximity to the Rialto Bridge, Grand Canal, San Silvestre vaporetto stop and fish market. This is a very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean apartment, well insulated from any street noise by double-glazed windows and external shutters. It surpassed all our expectations and more than matched the images depicted on the Truly Venice website. We were met at the San Silvestro vaporetto stop by Truly Venice's charming and knowledgeable agent who provided a detailed map and guidance to the local restaurants, cafes and sights. Thoroughly recommended.March 2018, Davide (Australia)
Very nice appartments in Venice, located very central in the City, short way to restaurants where you also can eat breakfast.September 2017, Peder (Norway)
The location is absolutely great - just a few steps away from the Grand Canal down a surprisingly quite street. The apartment is very comfortable and a good size for 3 adults. We really enjoyed our stay!July 2017, Annette (UK)
A friend and I stayed in this clean, comfortable, stylish, perfectly located apartment for 16 nights. We couldn't have found a better located or more suitable apartment if we tried. It was very affordable, especially when divided by two. This site says that this apartment has been listed since 2009 but it looks like new. It is centrally located near the Rialto bridge, therefore, close to the San Silvestro and Rialto vaporetto stops as well as the Ca D'Oro traghetto stop. The unit is metres away from many fine restaurants and shops. Nothing in Venice is far to get to by foot and a weekly vaporetto ticket is advisable. The air-conditioning, wi-fi and all facilities were excellent. Everything was in good condition and we could not have been more comfortable. "Truly Venice" who manage the apartments were very professional. A pleasant representative, Enrico, met us at the vaporetto stop and went over all the details with us when we arrived. He even carried my suitcase up two flights of stairs. Beware that in Venice you will have to haul your luggage up and down stairs so packing lightly is advisable. My email correspondence with Daniela when making my booking was always prompt and pleasant. If you speak English and not Italian that is not a problem. Thanks for a wonderful stay to the Truly Venice staff. Staying in Sapri 2 was a highlight of our 4 weeks in Venice.August 2014, Liz (United States)
This is the second time we have stayed in these apartments, and the experience has been wonderful both times. The apartment itself is incredibly comfortable and well-laid out, offering ample space for two couples. The kitchen is clean and compact, with a basic supply of utensils and pans, however anything else you need is easily found in the local shops. The location is superb - it is one or two minutes' stroll from the Rialto bridge and market, however tucked down a side-street so you are saved from any of the hustle and bustle. Truly Venice as a company are incredibly helpful and prompt to reply to messages. The arrival process is easy and clearly explained. Absolutely no complaints here!April 2017, Henrietta (London, UK)
On a recent sisters trip we had the pleasure of staying in this clean, modern, well located apartment. The organization of Truly Venice was wonderful from the reservation process through check in and check out. Our contact on arrival, Hannah, couldn't have been more professional and helpful. Upon our check in, when noticing that there were limited wine glasses and no coffee maker in the unit, she had both items replaced the same afternoon. She also provided us with a map, suggestions and directions to local market, shopping and restaurants. The apartment itself was like new, super clean and very centrally located for exploring Venice. Extremely good value as well....would highly recommend this apartment to others.October 2016, Jose (NY, USA)
We stayed in Sarpi 2 for 5 nights in the beginning of 2017. We had a great time during our stay, and the apartment was a wonderful place for retreat. Sarpi is very well located in the center of Venice, very close to lots of places like Rialto Bridge, San Marco, Varporetto Stops and so on. Good Restaurants/Osterias, Cafes for Breakfast in the neighborhood just a few minutes away. In Sarpi you have all you need for a good stay - it is also very quiet. If we will come back to Venice we will choose Sarpi again :-) Than you Truly Venice for everything, but specially for your warm welcome and the uncomplicated way to arrange everything concerning our stay.January 2017, Boris ( Freiburg, Germany)
My husband and I stayed in Sarpi 2 for 4 nights during our first visit to Venice in May. The location is great - you are close to some lovely non-touristy restaurants, all the main sights and neighbourhoods are in walking distance, but you are down a little alley (just off the Grand Canal) so the apartment is very quiet. The apartment is also very close to the San Silvestro and Rialto vaporetto stops which is handy for arrival and departure but during our stay we pretty much walked everywhere as the apartment is so central. The apartment is very modern, which is the style we like, and is very comfortable with all the facilities you need including good wifi! We booked through Truly Venice who were very professional, and Hannah who met us at the Vaporetto stop and checked us in was very friendly and personable - after showing us around the apartment she also sat down with us and gave us recommendations on where to eat, where to visit etc which we found very helpful (and great customer service!).June 2016, Jeannine (United Kingdom)
