The unit is located at the second floor of an ancient Venetian Palazzo situated in a typical "corte" (small square). It is characterised by a remarkable "trifora" (multiple arched window) made of white Istria stone that you can see from the comfortable living area as well as having a lovely view on Venetian roofs and chimneys dating back to more than 400 years.
The welcoming and versatile living room is truly the heart of the apartment. It can be transformed in a terrace-like area by opening up all windows looking onto the court and letting a nice breeze to come in. Then it can convert in a comfortable entertainment room with a 40 inches flat-screen TV with Blue Ray DVD player and Bose sound system, or it can turn into a cosy night area with its 100% dark making curtains with relaxing lighting for the evening or night. The two sofas have a 20 cm high mattress that is truly comfortable for sleeping, hence there are 2 extra sleeping spaces, if needed (prepared only on request).
The main bedroom with king size double bed is spacious and full of natural light. It is decorated with a floral wall that creates a warm and hospital ambience. There is a good size extra bed in this room as well, in case a child wishes to sleep with their parents in the same room.
Great care has been taken in decorating and furnishing the apartment, as can surely be seen by the well-maintained antique furniture, the traditional Venetian Terrazzo flooring and the beautiful wooden beams! Comfort is guaranteed by an efficient air conditioning and heating system, Wi-Fi internet connection, washing machine, dishwasher and every other basic modern amenity.
There is also a marvellous panoramic roof-top terrace on the 4th floor, accessible via the communal staircase, with view over Venetian roofs, the San Marco bell tower and on days with a clear sky you can also see the far away Dolomites! The terrace is shared with the other people in the building but is truly rarely used by anyone.

Amazing location, beautiful interior, fabulous kitchen and bath. The staff at Truly Venice was so helpful in planning our trip. Can't wait to return.

Home away home... This apartment is a really great secret of Venice away from the touristy hustle and bustle but close to everything. It is difficult to believe that it takes only 1 minute to the nearest waterbus station, 2 minutes to Academia, less than 5 minutes to Piazza San Marco, Teatro alla Fenice or the Rialto Bridge. The apartment is renovated with taste and quality and it is very quite and cozy. What we appreciate really, probably over and beyond the apartment itself, is the management company Truly Venice. Pur first experience was in May 2016 when we rented a bigger apartment in the same area for a month. Not only its selection of apartment is excellent, but also its service team is exceptional. We will again use Truly Venice for our next trip.

Thank you for making our stay in Venice very pleasant. We will be happy to recommend the Othello apartment and Truly Venice to other travelers who wish to experience the life of this beautiful city in a centrally located, calm and comfortable surrounding.

A beautiful, newly decorated with taste one bed room apartment. Spacious, well lighted, so comfortable and perfectly furnished. We have rented many apartments when traveling and never have we seen such a spotlessly clean apartment, a kitchen so well equipped, with little thoughts that make your stay an experience to remember with pleasure. Truly at walking distance to everything you will want to visit, and if you are tired of walking, the closest Vaporetto stop is truly a one-minute walk from the apartment. People from the rental agency and the owner were helpful in many ways during our 6 day stay in Venice.

Our 10 days were wonderful for us: we cooked breakfast and many dinners, exhausted after our journeys through all of the City. We really used the kitchen, following forays to the Rialto Market for such great food. The location was superb. San Stefano had all we needed in a short walk-coffee; meals; shopping; concerts; palazzo art exhibitions; Accademia bridge and the vaporetto stop are close by too. We appreciated the superb coffee table books, written by scholars, describing different aspects of the magical city (we've bought 3 of the 4 since returning home). Also enjoyed the dozen opera Dvd's. The apt. is spacious, and amenities great.

Beautiful apartment, warm, (Venice was freezing!), clean and with everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. Good food nearby and a couple of small shops to get bread for breakfast etc. Access to many main sites and Vaporetto stops within easy walking distance. We would definitely use this company again if returning to Venice.
