The first Island, MURANO, is famous for the antique art of making glass. Here you can take a demonstration tour inside a glass factory or visit the glass museum.

The main characteristic of BURANO, not far away from Murano, is the strong colors of its houses that create an extraordinary picture where light contrasts are impressive. Burano is a fisherman's island renowned for lace making.

Five minutes by boat from Burano we reach TORCELLO, the first island to be civilized in the Venetian Lagoon, with its magnificent Cathedral dating back to the 7th century and built by the Roman city of Altinum. Precious mosaics remain as testimony of its former glory.
