We had a great time in Venice in May 2010 - arriving by water taxi was special - the apartment was in a good location in Campo San Stefano and was well located for all we wanted to do and see during our visit. Memorable!

Mocenigo

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Mocenigo in San Marco. Inititally there were four of us, including my wife, myself, and our two teen-age daughters, and then we were joined by an aunt and uncle, and we were all very comfortable with the five bedrooms and three full baths. The kitchen was very functional and had a counter and seats, and we made breakfast every morning. The apartment is a two-minute walk from Campo San Luca, which has an amazing pastry shop for breakfast pastries and a daily open-air market; a short walk from the Rialto Bridge and San Polo markets; and easily accessible to Piazza San Marco and Accademmia Bridge.

The apartment has a lovely view over a canal that is trafficked by the gondola tours, so you hear music from the gondolas all day and evening. We enjoyed sitting in the living room reading with the windows open in the late afternoon, so we could hear the music and the chatter from the gondolas passing underneath the windows. Even so, the place was amazingly quiet at night when we were sleeping. There is a top restaurant, Il Mercanti, in the courtyard right outside the entrance to the building. Da Ivo, one of the top-rated restaurants in Venice (we had our best meal there), is right below the living room window on the other side of the canal. It's easy to pop in and make a reservation. Several other very good restaurants we tried were a short walk away.

Rivo Alto

Thank-you Daniela for heping us have such a wonderful holiday in Venice.Our Rivo Alto Apartment was perfect for a family of 6. A magnificent location overlooking the Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal.

The apartment was spacious, 4 bathrooms were great, the kitchen modern and well-equipped and the loung-room and dining-room beautifully furnished with 4 banks of windows to open up to marvel at the views and soak up the Venice life.

Thank-you Daniela for your exceptional professionalism and your friendly welcome to some weary travellers. You made our stay even more enjoyable with your restaurant,cafe,bakery, market and "best gelati in town suggestions". I would have to say Nico's gets my vote for the best gelati in all of our travels throughout Italy!

Now home and looking back on our holiday to London, Paris Tuscany, Rome and Lake Como, Venice is our favourite and will hold many great memories mostly due to the wonderful Rivo Alto Apartment.

Congratulations Daniela on having such a teffific business.I have already begun recommending you to friends. My 14 year old daughter wants to live in Venice when she is older,she enjoyed her stay so much.

Hope to book with you one day in the future as Truly Venice enabled us to live and feel everything that was truly Venice.

Valier

We very much enjoyed our time at our apartment in Venice. We stayed in a range of different places whilst away but the Truly Venice apartment stood out as "special". Below I have summarised our key impressions:

1. Good management and customer service processes and pracices were in place. We appreciated being met, taken to our appartment, and being given some local information about restaurants and so on and the appartment was spotlessy clean when we arrived.

2. All the little things were present, which make a stay enjoyable. For example everything worked (no faulty light bulbs) and new looking thick white towels and so on and this was certainly not our experience every where.

3. The appartment was comfortable and gave us a real sense that we were staying in someone's home rather than a rental property.

4. It was reasonably priced for the quality of the appartment. We stayed in another appartment in a less expensive city, and did not consider that it was as good value, although slightly less expensive.

5. I have no suggestions regarding improvements.

6. I have already recommended "Truly Venice" and would strongly recommend your company to anyone who told me they were planning to visit Venice.

Altana

We stayed at the Altana apartment for a week and I can't believe that there is a more beautiful location in all of Venice! Being able to cook for ourselves was one of the attractions of having an apartment, It was a delight to stay there, and I hope we will return someday.

Paradiso

I can Honestly say that using Truly Venice Venice was the best thing I did . The service we recieved was second to none. The Apartment was all we expected and more.What a great start to our visit!!

Daniela was very informative & helpful from the start, we had a wonderful unforgetable experience.

Morosini

We spent 11 days at the Morosini Apartment in Venice this past May. This apartment was the most beautiful place we ever stayed. We walked to the Rialto market in the morning and suddenly we found ourselves discovering what it is to live in Venice. Being in that apartment gave us also a taste of what it was living in Venice 500 years ago. That was an experience of a lifetime that we'll definitively repeat. Also, the support, advice and organization of Truly Venice team was remarkably friendly and efficient. Thank you for this memorable vacation.
