Newly restored, elegantly furnished, this first floor apartment is very spacious and offers a nice canal view.
It has been equipped with every possible amenity, such as a huge flat screen TV with satellite (English channels available), broadband Internet connection and air conditioning in every room.
The 2 bedrooms are big enough for 3 beds each, thus comfortably hosting up to 6 people. A big bathroom is composed of double vanities and a large bathtub. The chic dining room is open on one side on the "full-optional and chef-proof" kitchen. The truly Venetian living room receive plenty of light from the ample windows leading to the small "Istria Stone" terrace.
The apartment can be reached by walk in 5 to 7 minutes from San Zaccaria Vaporetto stop, although we recommend to book a water taxi that will drop you right next to the entrance door.
A highly recommended apartment especially for those who want to experience the most untouched part of Venice, while being less than ten minutes walk to San Marco Square.

We had a wonderful 8 nights in the Le Gatte apartment. It was everything we'd hoped for - clean, charming and right in the residential area overlooking a small canal. It was in easy walking distance to San Marco though we often took a while to get there as we became entranced with views, shops and sights along the way.
We were met by a very personable and helpful young man who couldn't have done more to make our first moments so memorable. The rest of the stay just got better ... ending up in the royal box at Teatro La Fenice...
