The Tommaseo apartment is situated on the border between the San Marco and Castello districts, in the heart of the historical town. It is accessible from the San Zaccaria Vaporetto stop (public transport) in only 2 minutes walk in straight line. In the surroundings you can find excellent restaurants, every sort of shop, the supermarket and the most renowned tourist sites such as Saint Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace.

This is a newly listed, lovely home, part of the noble floor of an historic palace, located in a quiet street, very close to San Marco Square. You will hardly hear the gondoliers singing while rowing through the nearby canal as the huge double glaze windows are really sound-proof. As opposite to the Altana apartment, available in the same building, the Tommaseo is less panoramic but more luxurious. It has just been restored and completed with refined furnishings, equipped with air conditioning and every sort of modern appliance.

The guests of this apartment can enjoy a well furnished and spacious terrace overlooking a picturesque canal, which is shared with the other three units of the palace but is rarely used by anyone else.

The structure is quite interesting: as you can see from the photo gallery, the authentic 5 meters tall ceiling is possibly the most beautiful in our house rentals portfolio, witnessing the opulence of the past centuries. The entire house is an open space with two galleries, both reachable through wooden stairways and composed of bedroom with closet space and bathroom with shower. The mattresses are respectively king (1.8 meters wide) and double size (1.4 meters wide). In the living room there is also a double pull-out sofa if you need more sleeping space.

We suggest the Tommaseo apartment to demanding couples, families with grown-up kids or friends who share intimacy, as the bedrooms are part of the open space environment and cannot be completely closed. The house is very comfortable up to four people, would be suitable also for five but only on request.
