Located in charming area of San Marco, just a stroll away from the world famous Fenice Theatre, this splendid apartment can also be accessed directly from the private water door. The apartment is well lit and has been made into a fantastically welcoming space by the owner's recent fine renovation work and the elegant designer furniture. It is the perfect solution for those who want to live a truly Venetian experience without giving up the comfort of a modern house.

The apartment is found on the first floor of an ancient palazzo situated on a tranquil calle. From its windows you can enjoy the splendid view on the gondolas drifting silently on the canal and the reflection of the coloured houses on the emerald water.

The apartment is divided by a mirrored sliding door into a living area furnished with a wooden table that seats up to 4 people, a comfortable sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchenette and the seeping area that leads to the functional bathroom with gorgeous mosaics and designer vanities.

It is completed by beautiful parquet flooring and authentic wooden beamed ceiling. The Smeraldo & Rubino apartments may be unified thanks to the secure door system that leads to the respective entrance doors, maintaining integral privacy and security, while doubling the living and sleeping area.
Comfort is ensured by air conditioning and internet access. An iron is delivered only upon request at 20 euros, within 24 hours. For safety reasons the owner has decided not to leave irons in his apartments.

The service we received was good after a few initial hiccups due to catching the wrong vaporetto. We loved the residence, compact, but well planned and excellent for 2 people. The location was magical. Although warned that we might tire of the songs of the gondoliers, we really enjoyed the atmosphere created by them. The location was excellent, in a quiet corner and yet close to the action, perfect for exploring Venice by foot. Although a bit close to San Marco, we were able to avoid the crowds and were in close walking distance to Dorsoduro and San Polo, magical places with wonderful art galleries, book shops, food and restaurants (not too expensive)and music venues. We also had easy access to the Biennale, which was very exciting. We loved being able to explore and 'get lost'. There was always a surprise around a corner or across another bridge. Finally, taking leave by ferry to the airport is the best way to go!

Truly Venice was a great experience. We have rented apartments in several countries during our travels and Truly Venice was probably one of the best experiences we have had. The booking process was straight forward and painless with many options including booking airport transfers etc. Daniela was great, from the very beginning in answering our queries via email through to making sure the water taxi was there to meet us even though our flight was delayed for 1 ½ hours. We rented the SMERALDO apartment, and although a little on the expensive side we would recommend booking the water taxi as it drops and picks you up almost at the door of the apartment. Within a few minutes of being dropped off Daniela was there and showed us around the apartment including how to use the features included as well as a quick orientation to Venice using the supplied map and a few very good recommendations on markets and restaurants that turned out to be very good. This is a contrast to other apartment rental agencies we have dealt with that practically throw the keys at you as they are running out the door. One word of caution the apartments on the website are very well photographed to show what is included. As a result they may be a lot smaller than what they look like on the website. This is NOT a negative, everything (including hotel rooms) are small in Venice. Just be prepared so you are disappointed by your expectations. If you want a lot of space rent one of the larger two bedroom places, but be prepared to pay... things in Venice are also expensive. The Smeraldo apartment was in a great location, quiet but close to everything. Great experience we would certainly use Truly Venice again. Excellent meet and greet service and then at the end of the holiday just walk out and leave the keys in the apartment. Perfect we really dont have a single complaint or thing we would want to happen differently.

Hi, I stayed in Venice for about a week with Truly venice, not only was the city an amazing place full of all wonders, our appartment which I organised online through Truly Venice was amazing. The website was very informative and easy to use, the checkin and service of the staff at Truly Venice was perfect. It was like having the facilities of a hotel at you fingertips but the privacy of a romantic secluded appartment. I really recomend this to anyone visiting Venice. I have rented many short term appartments over my 3 month stay in europe, and the service and quality of Truly Venice was the best by far. I hope many can have the same experience I did whilst there.

Dear Daniela, As always, Venice was and remains a magic place. The Smereldo apartment was lovely and the location is very good. Much better than staying in hotels. Thank you for a lovely place from which to explore one of the most romantic places on earth.

We were VERY pleased. The apartment was beautifully located and nice. The bathroom was the BEST we've been in Europe. We usually stay in high end moderate hotels but the apartment experience is the only way to go as far as I am concerned. The people were lovely and very accommodating. Thanks for everything.
